Departure at 07.30 am from our meeting point or pick up from your Rome hotel from

6.45 am to 7.00 am for your bus ride to Naples. On the road to the South, you will  ride the “Highway of the Sun”, passing by the ‘Castelli Romani’ pastures. You will also glimpse at the Abbey of Montecassino from far, the Italy’s most ancient monastery also famous for the massive bombing and complete destruction occurred during the Second World War. Once arrivedin Naples, meet a local expert guide and drive through the town to start your visit of the Neapolitan main beauties: the breathtaking Riviera di Chiaia, Mergellina, and the hill of Posillipofrom where you can admire the islandsof Capri, Ischia and take stunning photos of this unforgettable scenario.

Then we continue to walk through the historical center of the city, you will admire Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Piazza del Municipio, the Gallery of Umberto I and the San Carlo Opera House. After lunch in a typicalrestaurant based on Neapolitan specialties (pizza or pasta and water included), along with your expert local guide you will visit on foot the Pompeii excavations, UNESCO listed ruins.This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, which buried and preser- ved the valley under volcanic ash for almost 1700 years. The archaeological journey through the ancientcity will give us the opportunity to better understand how Romans used to live at that time. At the end of the tour, proceed to Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi coast, with its colorful historical center and the fascinating waterfront, lined with fishing boats and the new Marina Grande cruise pier. Check in at your hotel in Sorrento, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Today you will be transferred to the Sorrento port from where you will board the ferry heading to Capri island.Once on the isle you will join a guidedtour of Anacapri and Capri with an expertlocal guide including transportation. On the island it is impossible not to take some photos of the picturesque and famous Gulf of Naples, the island of Ischiaand the Faraglioni. Up to Anacapriyou will enjoy a typicallunch (in- cluded), then you will be allowedalso some free time to enjoy the best magic moments in the “Piazzetta”, or to take an optional boat tour around the isle and float inside the outstanding blue grotto (weatherpermitting) . It is suggestedto visit also the “Giardini di Augusto”. On late afternoon you will return on the mainland by ferry and back to your Sorrento hotel with a group transfer. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Today at a designated meeting point you will meet your tour leader who will passionately take you to a pleasing walk of the city up to reaching a liquor shop where you will have a free tasting of the typical limoncello liquor made with the worldwide famous Sorrento lemons. Rest of the day at your own pace, perhaps this day your tour leader can suggest you any additional tours and activities to do, like an optional cooking class based on how to make a traditional Italian pizza explained by a professional “Pizzaiolo” chef. You will learn the secret to do excellent pizza in this fun and tasty lesson. Dinner, overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning after your hotel check-out, you load your luggage on the coach and move to your hotel on Amalfi area. En route you will enjoy a coach ride with a tour leaderon board including one stop in Positano, a world famousvillage magically suspended between the blue sky and the iridescent colored sea. The ride proceeds along the legendary “Amalfi Coast road” up to reaching your hotel in the Amalfi area. Check in at your hotel,and time at leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at the hotel.
